Theodore Presser Digital Piano Laboratory
In 1995, a
major grant from the Theodore Presser Foundation was awarded to Augustana College to install a state-of-the-art electronic piano laboratory. This
facility includes 10 full-keyboard student units with MIDI, a master keyboard with extensive sequencing and orchestration
capabilities, an integrated computer and sound system, and music notational
software and display devices.
This lab is the primary
instructional facility for all classes in group piano and is also used as a
training facility for students learning to teach group piano.
