Practice Pianos at Augustana

In 2002, Augustana
College purchased eighteen new
pianos for studios, rehearsal rooms, and practice rooms. Practice rooms are
reserved for piano majors and non-music majors who receive a piano scholarship.
These rooms have grand pianos that are tuned and maintained in good condition
for student use.
Just recently, a new Steinway 7' Grand was purchased through
the generous support of Augustana
College alumni Jerod
and Erin Gustafson. At the donor's request, this piano is used exclusively for
piano student practice so that each student, "can acheive
their full potential as a pianist and musician" (Jerod
Gustafson).
